I got a mailing today (from an SGML development firm which I will name
upon request) asking $20,000 in advance for a beta copy of their Hytime
engine. From that bit of pricing information I gather
- a full Hytime engine in all its glory is going to be a lot of work
to write
- the marketplace is not very mature
Needless to say I have other things that I'd like to spend $20K on....
